    50 Commands of Jesus:

Keep Your Word! Matthew 5: 33-37 33“Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.’ 34“But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, 35or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, or by Jerusalem, for it is THE CITY OF THE GREAT KING. 36“Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. 37“But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil. I promise….I swear…cross…

    Finding Nileen.

On Sunday morning, I got a pressing on my heart. It was as if the Holy Spirit was saying, ” Take your holy oil and go find Nileen.” Nileen was a lady that I met through a friend. She had suffered what I call a stress stroke after her daughter passed away. The stroke caused paralysis on one side of her body making moving her right arm and leg difficult. Over a month ago, after a bible study group, the three of us had a nice prayer session in a local coffee shop. When I met her she mentioned to me that she went to a certain church in Leander,…

    Wanting More.

It hasn’t been too long ago that I went on a church tour in my area. My family would try church after church. Several Holy Spirit and divine appointments happened at the various churches. I will probably share a few others on later blogs. My heart was aching for His presence. I wasn’t wanting the perfect speaker or perfect message, I wanted to have an experience, a feeling, a spiritual encounter with the creator. At each church I visited, I would quietly in my mind whisper. ” Are you here Abba Daddy? ” There is no doubt that I got something out of each message and felt love from the…

Is Getting Rid of Leaven @ Passover, More than A Religious Ritual?

I had a friend that told me that she was not going to do any religious rituals over Passover and not doing Easter either. She wanted to focus on her relationship, pressing into the Holy Spirit. Pressing into the Holy Spirit and reading the bible is always good, but let’s examine why removing the yeast from your house and your temple ( body) is much deeper than a religious ritual or chore. The scriptures call for us to take the leaven-yeast out of our homes and not eat anything with yeast-leavening agents for 8 days. On the surface it seems like a grueling spring cleaning event and either a fast…

Apostle John’s friend Polycarp tried to stop Easter & Keep Original Ways.

This Thursday at dusk, consider watching the movie Passion of the Christ, watching specifically the scenes were he is beaten and crucified. With that imagery fresh on your mind, break bread, drink grape juice in remembrance of Yahshua ( Jesus). Bow your head, repent, praise and thank. You are no longer a slave to sin. Your Messiah died for you, sent the Spirit of Truth to empower you to die to self. Why Should You Break Bread, Have A Remembrance Meal this Thursday, April 18 at Dusk? Early believers custom was celebrating Passover beginning with the eve of the 14th day of Nisan (or Aviv in the Hebrew Bible calendar),…

    50 Commands of Yahshua

Matthew 5:27-30 Adultery & Lusting 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[a] 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go…

    Would Jesus Do Easter?

“Do not worship the LORD your God in the way these pagan peoples worship their gods. Deuteronomy 12: 4 Jeremiah 10:2 commands us to “Learn not the way of the heathen” 2 Thessalonians 2:15 demands that we do not follow the “traditions of men.” 1 Corinthians 5:77 “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:” Passover is a feast that is “everlasting”, for strangers and natives of Israel according to scripture. Jesus is the King of The Jews. He completes the promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, he is their promised King…

    John Chapter 6

Where should we buy bread for these people to eat? A test. Do we think from carnal minds, earthly mindsets? Or do we believe in the supernatural abilities, creative power of God? Can the Father not accomplish the impossible with ease? Even the disciples, after witnessing miracle after miracle, were still thinking from an earthly (restrictive) perspective. What’s impossible for man, is possible for God. If God be for you, who could be against you or restrict you? Multiplying blessings is something Abba Daddy loves to do, especially when the requests, lines up with His plan and purpose. There was about 5,000 men when Jesus multiplied the bread and fish…

50 Teaching of Jesus: Be Reconciled #7

Matthew 5:21-2521“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. 23“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be…

    50 Teachings of Jesus:

#6 Honor God’s Law Matthew 5: 17-19 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. This is written in…
